Super Junior has made another achievement in the Philippines with their fourth album Bonamana soaring to the number one position!
In the country’s largest music retail chains, Astroplus/Astrovision and Music One, the album jumped to the first position as soon as it was released in the Philippines. It has been one of the best-selling albums this year and sales are still climbing! It is predicted that Bonamana will get to the gold record status within a month, making this album the second to receive the gold record after last year’s Sorry Sorry.
In addition, this achievement makes Super Junior the first Korean group to ever have five #1 albums in the Philippines! The group’s success started in September of last year, when Sorry Sorry was released. Later, albums like Super Girl, Super Show 2 Live Album, Don’t Don, and now Bonamana reached the top, proving Super Junior’s popularity overseas.
