Fans mob Korean boy band Super Junior !!

Hundreds of teenage Filipino fans mobbed the Korean hip-hop group Super Junior upon their arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Friday morning.

The fans, who numbered close to a thousand, caught airport security off-guard after they jumped the security line and ran towards the Korean boy band after they stepped out of the NAIA arrival curbside.

Wanting to get a closer glimpse of their idols, the fans surrounded the six vans the band members were in and started to take photos through the heavily tinted windows.

The airport security personnel in the area were no match for the number of fans that rushed to the curbside, preventing the singers’ convoy from moving forward.

It took several minutes for security reinforcement to arrive at the scene and clear the area to allow the group’s vehicles to move.

As soon as the convoy left the airport, the fans also left and cleared the area.

Korean invasion in the Philippines with Super Junior !!

They may sing in a different language, but Korean boy band Super Junior -- or SuJu -- has proven that music really knows no boundaries. The 13-member group, which was formed in 2005, has been winning fans not only in Seoul, but the rest of the world with their distinct urban contemporary pop sound.


Of course, it helps that fans are swept away by the good-looking boys. The members sport stylish haircuts and wear stylish clothes, which compliment their well-choreographed, highly synchronized dance routines.

So despite the language barrier, SuJu’s members -- Leeteuk, Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Kang-in, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwonm, Ryeowook, Kibum and Kyuhyun -- have fans screaming for more, wherever they perform.

In Shanghai, Bangkok, or Taipei, SuJu performs its K-pop hits in sold-out concerts. The group’s first Asian tour, dubbed Super Show, made ticket sales records in the venues where they performed.

When SuJu announced a tour in January 2008, over 120,000 fans in Seoul tried to buy the available 13,000 tickets online simultaneously, crashing the computer servers. As soon as the server were back in commission, all the tickets were reportedly sold out in just 18 minutes.

The first Super Show concert tour, which ran from February 2008 until March 2009, was said to be so successful that a follow-up Asian tour was announced only three months after the last show in South Korea.

Super Show 2 began another round of concerts in South Korea, China and Thailand. But due to the clamor of fans elsewhere in the region, organizers have expanded the tour to include concerts in Hong Kong, Malaysia and the Philippines.

News about the Philippine concert spread like wildfire in the social networking site Facebook and the micro-blog Web site Twitter as early as December. However, organizers officially confirmed SuJu’s April 10 concert at the Araneta Coliseum only in January.

As soon as local concert organizer, Pulp Entertainment, began selling "exclusive" tickets through Facebook in January, the most expensive "super VIP" tickets (which cost as much as P8,500) were snapped up in an instant.

As of Tuesday, tickets worth P7,920 for the "standing room only" area near the stage were also all sold out, together with the cheapest general admission tickets (P1,060), prompting organizers to speculate this early that the SuJu concert tomorrow night might break Araneta Coliseum box office records.

But even before the boys of SuJu performs their first song, Pulp Entertainment claimed that the concert will make history as the music event with the largest indoor stage ever built in the country.

The stage for the concert will use as many as 329 stage platforms -- the previous record for the largest stage used 209 stage platforms.

Pulp Entertainment has taken almost a week to set up in the Araneta Coliseum, taking up virtually the entire "patron area" for the stage.

The producers assured that SuJu will have a full concert tomorrow night. "Unlike many international superstars who have come to the Philippines, Super Junior will not be holding out," the concert organizer said in a statement. "The Super Junior Super Show 2 in Manila will run a minimum of three hours with the band performing over 30 songs with massive amounts of stage effects to boot."

Because of this, Pulp Entertainment said Araneta Coliseum’s gates will open as early as 5 p.m. since the concert will start promptly at 7 p.m.

The group promises to perform all its hits in the concert, including "U," "Don’t Don," and "Sorry, Sorry."

And contrary to rumors, SuJu’s official Web site assured that the members will perform all the songs in Manila live, and will not lip-sync in at least six of their production numbers as claimed by the band’s detractors.

Super Junior Copied A Choreographer's Dance Steps At Star Dance Battle? !!

Super Junior’s dance battle was all the talk today as it claimed to have some parts copied from Lyle Beniga’s original choreography. Lyle Beniga is YG’s resident choreographer and somehow word passed on, and it has reached him.

He’s not mad about the whole thing, but did emphasize that he’s not okay with it. You can see from the caps I did from his tweets awhile ago.

And finishing his little rant he said and I quote - ‘ Ey for the record im not sayin it’s “OK” lol. Im jus not trippin over it – they def. lose respect tho ‘

We all have opinions. It’s up to you guys to decide, I’m posting the videos of the said performances as well. Just so you know, the Twelfs had also been tipped off that 2PM also got inspirations for their own battle. And by the way, Lyle’s reply at the bottom was to me. Happy fangirl.

SNSD and Super Junior decked out in red for Spao !!

We are just two months away from the Fifa World Cup 2010 in South Africa and the global event expected to be watched by millions is expected to be a revenue maker for many.

Some of the Super Junior members are in a bad condition !!

Regarding to the title, i would like to inform fans that members of Super Junior such as Eeteuk, Heechul, Kyuhyun and Donghae are ailing and not feeling well this few days.

Yesterday, we had been reported that SHINee's Onew to replace Eeteuk to be one day DJ at Kiss The Radio because Eeteuk was not feeling well or perhaps he was sick but nobody knows what is the main reason that made him absent in Kiss The Radio. In the following days, Donghae, Krystal, Kyuhyun and Onew will replace him as well:

Tuesday April 4th : Donghae

Wednesday April 7th : Krystal

Thursday April 8th : Kyuhyun

Friday April 9th: Onew

As you know, Heechul is currently hosting his new radio broadcasting ''Youngstreet Radio'' at SBS. Fans had spotted that he kept coughing while hosting and he looked real washed out and weary.

Talking about the comeback of 4jib, ELF sure can't sit still anymore. According to SJ-world, Kyuhyun has his hands full by practicing the new dance moves with other members too. Unfortunately, he was the only one that injured his leg while practicing choreography. He was falling down, but Heechul and a manager quickly holding him up by the arms.

Many fans were shocked to see the scar at Donghae's neck. What is that and what happened to him? He wore turtleneck to cover up his neck and some netizens even commented that it is a hickey. Hiding in their smile are tears.

On 6th November 2005, they were put on stage in a way of planned project making people generally understand the system.
(At first,SM planned to change the 12 members if they are not satisfied,just like the Janpanese gruops.SM had the right to add new member to replace the original one.)
Even Knowing that they’ll finally separate,SJ still smile.
One year passed and SM changed the plan because of the unexpected popularity of SJ.
It’s a ‘13-people large scale men’s group’ instead of a ‘project 12-people large scale men’s group SJ05’.
It becomes an unchanged 13-people group.
SJ is widely known and is much beloved via U.

Criticisms for being substandard came even from the way of project group.
Kim Hee Chul as a singer was being blamed eventually.
Despite a lot of annoyance and pain from the malicious response as well as, Hee Chul invariably pretended to be all right.
During the performance in variety shows, he, pretending nothing happened, hadn't talked about it all along.
Other people responded with more and more acute scolding, “You still cannot behave yourself.”

Shortly after this incident, Lee Dong Hae’s dad passed away.
In a moment, Dong Hae lost the firm defense, his dad, who gave him much and much courage.
In 2nd Album, 3rd Album… all the ‘thanks to’ were written about his dad, who protected him in heaven.
Such an exhausted Dong Hae smiled like a pabo in the funeral when reporters came to take photos of him.
Why? Because he’s afraid that he would involve other members to get scolding.
A few days later, Hee Chul who went to the funeral met a traffic accident.
If he could no longer dance due to severe injuries in his legs, it would bring him endless pain.
However, malicious response came, “Why doesn’t Kim Hee Chul from the non-concept SJ continue to dance? Why is he still alive?”

With a long metal nailed in his leg, he put up with the pain and stood on the stage again.

In summer 2007, the 1st movie belongs to SJ, their 1st performance on the screen--‘Attack on the Pin-Up Boys', was released.
Both KyuHyun and E-teuk were unable to take part in the movie because of their health.
With fans’ assistance, E-teuk found a shooting place.
And asked the director to allow him to take part in the film shooting, as he really wanted to be in the film.
However, the movie was not popular. Once again, there’s scolding.
“Are things like that considered to be movies? It’s so non-concept, why is it still being put in the film industry?”

SJ released their 2nd Album in winter 2007.
However, the hit song ‘Don’t don’ didn’t get unanimous recognition.
Vicious messages were around, “I could hear nothing except the sound of machines. SJ are singers who sing with too many flaws and without skills.”

Participation in the album activities, KyuHyun even danced with powerful movements to match the style of the song though his body still hasn’t fully recovered.
However, he did not show any sign of illness nor pain. He smiled happily in all the programmes instead.
And there was only pain and exhaustion that followed

After Don't don, ‘Marry U’ that had been put on stage,
also was not that popular as expected. SJ ended the performances of their 2nd album with this.
People, treating them from a judgmental perspective, gave SJ and ELFs a hard time.
In order to avoid Super Junior being scolded because of ELFs’ actions, ELFs began a project called ‘becoming a kindhearted ELFs’.
And started by responding all the malicious criticisms with a forgiving manner.


There’s also a big episode.
The person playing the violin in the middle part of ‘Don’t don’ was a stranger to all of us and there were rumors that he would join Super Junior.
ELFs started opposition, as a result.

A protest of ‘the defence of 13’ begun in the cold weather in January 2008.
Except protesting by standing in front of SM, ELFs also pooled $1,000 to buy 1% shares of SM Company under their own power for Super Junior

With different banners, they started to protest by shouting ‘13’ loudly.
This thus became hot issue and hit the headlines of all news website and media

However, this action was blamed by the netizens again. “Did you guys think of the nearby residents? You are just non-sense, aren’t you?” etc.

Then, followed by the incident of E-teuk telling lies.
People who did not understood this incident scolded E-teuk and blamed fans for their non-concept.
Although ELFs were speechless about this, they tried every effort to apologize for Kim Yu-Na.
E-teuk apologized to everyone by lip-reading the word ‘Sorry’ in KTR,
He sacrificed himself and Kim Yu-Na and was under huge pressure after this.
He cried alone when he was out of camera but he did not give up in front of us.
Despite dozens of scolding, he still did not give up.


After this gap, the small group ‘Super Junior M’ appeared with the Chinese newcomers H and ZM.
ELFs doubted if the company made an excuse to get new members in.
